Welcome to iOSMentor! This app is designed to take you from zero to an advanced iOS developer. Below, we've summarized the rules for using the app as simply as we can.

By downloading and using iOSMentor, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. Purpose and Scope

iOSMentor is an educational app offering interactive lessons, flashcards, practice questions, code exercises, and AI-powered mock interviews on Swift, SwiftUI, and iOS development. Our goal is to support your growth; however, iOSMentor does not guarantee that you will get a job, pass an interview, or pass an exam.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use iOSMentor. The app's AI features are provided by a service whose terms do not allow use by people under 18.

3. Your Account

• You need an account to use the app. If you sign up with email, you must verify your email address.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details (your password, Apple or Google account) secure.
• Your account is personal; don't share it. If we detect account sharing, your account and any Premium access may be suspended.

4. AI and Content Accuracy

iOSMentor's AI mentor (powered by Google Gemini) asks you questions and evaluates your code and interview answers.

• Margin of error: The AI can sometimes produce incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information and code. Always review anything you use in real projects yourself and verify it against Apple's official documentation.
• AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional advice. iOSMentor is not liable for data loss or technical issues resulting from use of such content.
• What you write to the mentor, your code, and your interview answers are sent to the AI service provider to be evaluated. AI features work only after you give permission in the app. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Voice Interviews (Microphone and Speech Recognition)

The "AI Mock Interview" feature asks for microphone and speech recognition permission. The microphone listens only when you start an interview. Your voice is transcribed on your device by Apple's speech recognition; audio is not stored and never leaves your device. Only the transcribed text of your answer is sent to the AI for evaluation.
